Eugene Vindman, a retired Army colonel and key figure in President Trump's first impeachment, has won the Democratic primary in Virginia's 7th Congressional District. Vindman raised over $5 million during the primary and will now face Republican candidate Derrick Anderson in the general election. The 7th District seat was left vacant by Democratic Rep. Abigail Spanberger, who decided not to seek re-election to run for governor.
