Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) CEO Rick Leary is set to resign, effective August 30. Leary has been in the role for 10 years, most recently negotiating a new collective agreement with the Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) 113, the largest union representing TTC workers. TTC Chair Jamaal Myers expressed gratitude for Leary's contributions and stated that the TTC will announce next steps, including plans for an interim CEO, in the coming weeks.
