Texas-based Friedkin Group has entered exclusive talks to acquire a majority stake in Premier League club Everton, following the collapse of a previous deal with 777 Partners. Everton's owner Farhad Moshiri has granted a period of exclusivity to The Friedkin Group, which already owns Serie A club Roma and AS Cannes in France, for the majority shareholding. The deal is subject to due diligence and Premier League approval.
