The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is investigating a Southwest Airlines flight that descended to just 525 feet above ground while approaching Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City. The flight, Southwest 4069, was about 9 miles from the airport when it dropped to the low altitude, triggering an altitude warning from air traffic control. The Boeing 737-800 eventually landed safely after the descent stopped.
