The FBI has identified a deceased convicted serial rapist, Walter Leo Jackson Sr. from Ohio, as the primary suspect in the murders of two women found in Shenandoah National Park in Virginia almost 30 years ago. DNA evidence retested recently linked Jackson to the killings of 24-year-old Julianne Williams and an unnamed victim. The FBI has closed the cold case, although Jackson is no longer alive to face charges.
