17-season NHL player, Andrew Cogliano, retires and joins the Colorado Avalanche front office.
After 17 seasons in the NHL, Colorado Avalanche forward Andrew Cogliano announced his retirement. The Toronto native played for the Edmonton Oilers, Anaheim Ducks, Dallas Stars, and San Jose Sharks throughout his career, totaling 1,294 regular-season games and 464 points (190 goals, 274 assists). Cogliano will join the Avalanche front office, assisting in roles such as player development, professional and amateur scouting, and working with the AHL's Colorado Eagles.
