Rocky Mount Smokehouse restaurant temporarily closed after kitchen fire. The Rocky Mount Fire Department responded to a commercial structure fire at the restaurant on June 20. The fire started in the kitchen and spread into the ventilation system and onto the roof. Crews quickly contained both the interior and exterior fires, and no injuries were reported. The restaurant will be closed until further notice.
