The Nigerian House of Representatives Committee on Public Petitions has called AGIP Oil Company to appear on June 26 due to an alleged $80m debt owed to indigenous company De Cooon Services Ltd. AGIP failed to attend previous hearings. De Cooon Services CEO, Prof Nelson Onubogu, accuses AGIP of diverting funds paid by NNPC and using them for cancelled contracts. The committee urges Nigerians to take their businesses seriously and complies with contract awarding and termination rules.
