BBC is set to air a modern retelling of The Railway Children, titled "The Primrose Railway Children," on CBBC and BBC iPlayer. Filmed in Glasgow, the story follows Phoebe, the younger child, in contrast to the original book which focuses on the eldest child. The series will also see the return of an adaptation of Enid Blyton's Malory Towers for two more series, while a new comedy titled High Hoops, featuring Peep Show stars Robert Webb and Isy Suttie, is also set to air.
