Los Angeles City Council establishes a 13-member Charter Reform Commission to review & possibly amend the city's governing document, including potentially expanding the council & improving transparency. Recommendations based on public input will be put before voters in the November 2026 ballot. This is the first time such a commission has been formed in 25 years, following a scandal at City Hall.
