Manhattan DA's office drops charges against most pro-Palestinian protesters arrested at Columbia University due to lack of evidence.

Manhattan District Attorney's office has dropped charges against most pro-Palestinian protesters arrested at Columbia University last month, citing a lack of evidence. Of the 46 initially charged with trespassing, 31 cases have been dismissed, with prosecutors attributing the decision to insufficient video footage of the events inside Hamilton Hall, where many cameras were covered by the protesters. The remaining 15 defendants are still facing charges.
