On June 19th, a man was attacked with a knife at New Westminster's waterfront boardwalk. The suspect, an Asian male in his 20s, and the victim, who sustained minor injuries, do not appear to know each other, making the attack random. The New Westminster Police Department has appealed for witnesses to share any information they have and for anyone with relevant footage to contact them.
