Alleged illegal mining kingpin arrested in Limpopo: A notorious illegal mining kingpin was apprehended in Limpopo in a coordinated operation by SAPS, SANDF, and the National Intervention Unit. The kingpin, a Congolese foreign national, is believed to be the mastermind behind illegal mining operations in the Atok region. Three individuals, aged 31 to 45, were arrested at the scene.
