Honeywell buys aerospace and defense tech firm CAES Systems for $2 billion from private equity firm Advent International, strengthening its aerospace technologies unit. CAES Systems designs and develops electronics for aerospace and defense firms. This acquisition will enhance Honeywell's defense technologies across land, sea, air and space, and deepen its aerospace expertise.
