Gunmen killed popular Point of Sale (PoS) operator, Alfa Taofeek, in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, taking an undisclosed amount of money and valuables. This is the second such incident within a week in the state capital, following the murder of an Okada riders' official. The police have activated tactical teams to apprehend the perpetrators and urged residents to continue with their normal activities.
