Singapore's Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) arrested 3 drug offenders and seized 1.2 kg of drugs, including 1,140 grams of heroin and 89 grams of Ice, worth SGD 131,000 (USD 97,000). The CNB's actions, reported on June 20, could provide 590 drug abusers with a week's worth of supply. Meanwhile, Sri Lankan navy seized a local fishing trawler with 131 kg of heroin, worth over Rs. 3250 million, hidden in secret compartments.
