Continental AG completes fourth phase of tire plant in Hefei, China, reaching 18M annual capacity by 2027.

Continental AG, a German car parts supplier, has completed the fourth phase of its tire plant in Hefei, China, its first wholly-owned tire production base in the country. The plant's annual tire production capacity is set to reach 18 million by 2027, reinforcing Continental's presence in the Asia-Pacific and Chinese markets and strengthening its overall production capacity for ultra-high performance (UHP) tires.
