Cedar Rapids police arrested seven individuals in an undercover operation targeting those attempting to engage in sex with minors on social media. The police created fake accounts posing as underage users and charged six of the arrested individuals with enticing a minor under 16. The operation is part of the department's efforts to provide a safe and secure community. One more arrest is expected.
