The Philippine National Police (PNP) has intensified patrol operations across the country, ordered by national police chief Rommel Marbil. The initiative aims to prevent crime and build trust with communities. 85% of all police personnel are mandated to be engaged in field duties, including foot and motorcycle patrolling, Oplan Galugad, and Oplan Sita, to enhance visibility and ensure rapid response.
