A new baby macaque, named Hayley, has been born at Blair Drummond Safari and Adventure Park, near Stirling, as part of conservation efforts for endangered Barbary macaques. There are only approximately 8,000 Barbary macaques left in the wild, and the troop at the safari park contributes to their preservation. Hayley, born on May 13, is the offspring of Orcus and Phil, both dominant members of the park's troop which arrived from Gibraltar in 2014.
