18 June: Dorset & Wiltshire fire crews extinguished a large heathland fire in Bemerton Heath near Salisbury with no injuries.
On June 18, Dorset and Wiltshire fire crews responded to a large field fire on Bemerton Heath near Salisbury at 6pm. Four fire engines and a water carrier attended, with around 20 firefighters extinguishing the blaze, which involved a large area of heathland, within three hours. No injuries were reported, and firefighters checked for hotspots at 11pm but found none.
