Jakson Green wins order from NTPC to set up 4G ethanol plant in Chhattisgarh, capturing CO2 and producing green hydrogen.

New energy platform Jakson Green has won an order from state-owned NTPC to set up a plant producing 4G ethanol from flue gas in Chhattisgarh. The plant will capture CO2 from the flue gases, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and generate 3 tonnes of green hydrogen daily. Captured CO2 and hydrogen will be converted into 4G ethanol using advanced microbial fermentation technology from LanzaTech Inc. Jakson Green will execute the project as the LEPC partner.
