Global Capability Centers (GCCs) have become strategic innovation hubs in India, with over 1,580 GCCs and an installed talent base of 1.66 million. US companies, facing inflation and talent crunches, are setting up GCCs in India, with services ranging from executive compensation to IT solutions. In Q4 CY2023, India saw 10 new GCCs, including key MNCs, with a focus on AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics. US-headquartered MNCs accounted for 50% of the new GCCs.
