Elliot Lake, Canada, has opened two cooling centers at the Masonic Lodge #698 and the Elliot Lake Public Library to help residents cope with a heat event. The Masonic Lodge, at 171 Spruce Avenue, is open from June 19-20, providing free coffee, water, and Wi-Fi. The library, at 45 Hillside Dr South, is open until June 21, offering water fountains but no food or drinks. Both locations are free to enter.
