A full driving license allows towing a caravan up to 3,500kg combined weight, while owners with licenses issued before January 1, 1997, can tow larger caravans up to 8.25 tonnes MAM without extra qualifications. Drivers must inspect caravan lights, tyres, and follow speed limits and lane usage rules to avoid penalties.
