Belarus achieves 80% progress on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and ranks 30th globally.
Belarus' national mechanism for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) has been praised as effective and has reached an 80% progress rate, with the country ranked 30th among 166 countries on the SDG index. The Second National Forum on Sustainable Development in Minsk brought together around 400 participants who discussed progress towards the SDGs and exchanged best practices for sustainable development. Belarus' experience in achieving the SDGs could be useful to other countries in the UNECE region, which covers North America, Europe, and Central Asia.
