BDC commits $250m to support Indigenous and Black-led businesses, including a $50m program for women entrepreneurs.

The Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) is committing $250m to support Indigenous and Black-led businesses. This commitment includes the launch of a $50m program offering loans and training for women, Indigenous, and Black entrepreneurs with revenues under $3m. Additionally, BDC Capital is launching two new $100m funds to support Indigenous and Black-led businesses. These initiatives complement a $500m fund for women, which also serves Indigenous and Black women entrepreneurs.
