72-year-old men wanted in N. Ireland for 1975 murder, argue against extradition due to "abuse of process".

72 and 73-year-old men, John Edward McNicholl and Seamus Christopher O'Kane, wanted in Northern Ireland for charges related to the 1975 murder of an RUC officer and attempted murder of a second constable, argue their extradition request is an "abuse of process." The High Court heard that the UK did not seek their surrender until now, and the men's lawyers will be arguing that this is a "significant abuse of process." The next hearing is scheduled for July 10th.
