19-year-old Leah Croucher was unlawfully killed by convicted sex offender Neil Maxwell, according to a coroner's court. The teenager, a martial arts expert, disappeared while walking to work on February 15, 2019, and her body was found in a house over three years later. Maxwell, who had a history of targeting young females, killed himself two months after Croucher vanished. A number of failings were identified in the monitoring of Maxwell by the probation service and police.
