20 and 22-year-old British women were arrested at Larnaca Airport in Cyprus for allegedly smuggling 41.97 kg of cannabis from Bangkok via a stopover in the UAE. Their arrests resulted from joint efforts of police and customs authorities targeting drug smugglers. The suspects are held for further investigation by the Larnaca Drug Law Enforcement Unit (YKAN).
