The New York Yankees have promoted 25-year-old prospect Ben Rice from Triple-A to replace injured first baseman Anthony Rizzo, who is expected to miss 4-6 weeks due to a fractured arm. Rice, a 12th-round draft pick in 2021, has hit well at every level of the minors and ranks as the #12 prospect in the Yankees' system. Rice will primarily start games at first base when opponents use a right-handed starting pitcher.
