Recochem, a Canadian chemical company, acquires KIK Consumer Products' Auto Care business, encompassing Prestone in North America and Holts in the UK. The deal creates a global automotive solutions group with economies of scale. KIK will now concentrate on Household Care and Pool Care businesses, while Recochem expands into new automotive solutions and products in key markets.
