Qualcomm agrees to pay $75M to settle shareholder lawsuit over fraudulent anticompetitive practices.

Qualcomm agreed to pay $75 million to settle a lawsuit filed by shareholders, accusing the company of fraudulently hiding anticompetitive sales and licensing practices. The lawsuit, certified as a class action, alleged that Qualcomm artificially inflated its share price between 2012 and 2017 by bundling chip sales and technology licensing. The preliminary all-cash settlement requires approval by U.S. District Judge Jinsook Ohta.
