Ottawa issues open-air fire ban due to extreme heat and low precipitation until Thursday.
Ottawa Fire Services has issued an open-air fire ban for the city due to extreme heat and low precipitation levels, expected to last through Thursday. All open-air fires, including campfires, brush piles, agricultural burns, and wood burning outdoor fireplaces, are banned until further notice, regardless of an Open Air Fire Permit.
