The New Jersey Devils have acquired veteran goalie Jacob Markstrom from the Calgary Flames, establishing a tandem with fellow veteran Jake Allen for the upcoming season. Markstrom, a 34-year-old Swede, is signed for two more seasons at a $6M salary cap hit, with the Flames retaining 31.25% of his salary ($1.875M annually). The trade includes defenseman Kevin Bahl and New Jersey's first-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft.
