NatWest has reduced home loan rates by up to 0.17 percentage points, following a drop in UK inflation to 2%. The move, the first by a major UK lender, comes as Britons await the Bank of England's decision on interest rates. NatWest's cuts are most aggressive for people remortgaging with a five-year fix at a leading rate of 4.41%. Other lenders are expected to follow suit in the coming days.
