MLB to implement Automated Ball-Strike (ABS) challenge system in Triple-A games from June 25th.

MLB plans to implement the Automated Ball-Strike (ABS) challenge system in all Triple-A games from June 25th, following successful testing. The challenge system allows hitter or catcher to request real-time reviews of strike/ball calls and is preferred by in-uniform personnel and fans. MLB is considering implementing the challenge system at the major league level, but it's at least a season away.
