The extradition trial for expelled Filipino lawmaker Arnolfo Teves Jr., accused of being involved in the 2019 killings and the recent murder of Negros Oriental Gov. Roel Degamo, concluded at Timor-Leste's Court of Appeals. A decision on the extradition request is expected by the end of June, according to the Department of Justice. Teves is currently under house arrest in Timor-Leste.
