On April 9th, pro-Palestinian protesters staged a demonstration outside UK Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer's home, leading to a trial for public order offences and breaching court bail.
Lady Victoria Starmer, wife of UK Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer, testified that she felt "a bit sick" and "apprehensive" upon encountering a pro-Palestinian protest outside their family home on April 9th. The protest involved Youth Demand activists who staged a demonstration in front of the Starmer residence, hanging a banner that read "Starmer stop the killing" and placing rows of children's shoes in front of the door. Leonorah Ward, Zosia Lewis, and Daniel Formentin, the protesters, are on trial at Westminster Magistrates' Court for public order offences and breaching court bail. They deny the charges, and the trial continues.
