Ireland's residential property prices increased at the fastest pace in almost 17 months in April, with the Central Statistics Office reporting a 7.9% annual rise, up from 7.4% in March. This marks the eighth consecutive month of annual house price growth, with Dublin property prices rising 8.3% annually and those outside the capital increasing by 7.6%. The median house price in this period was €335,000.
