Drone delivery service has been launched in Gurugram, India by Skye Air, a drone technology pioneer. In partnership with Blue Dart, they aim to improve logistics, offer same-day delivery, and reduce environmental impact, initially focusing on the e-commerce sector. Skye Air has grown from two drones to 30, providing quick, eco-friendly, and accurate delivery services in urban areas, and plans to expand to 100 drones in the next 18-24 months.
