Clovis Fire Department is sending a task force of 12 personnel, an ambulance, two fire engines, and a command vehicle to Ruidoso to assist in the response efforts for the South Fork Fire. The deployment was requested by the Lincoln County Emergency Operations Center and the Clovis/Curry County emergency manager. The task force will aid in structural protection efforts at the ongoing fire.
