Cass County Vector Control is scheduling truck-mounted ground spraying for mosquitoes on June 19th at 8pm in rural cities and subdivisions. This is the first time ground spraying for nuisance mosquitoes has been done this season. Vector Control states the insecticide used is safe for people and pets, and is a permethrin-based Ultra Low Volume spray. Residents are advised not to follow spray trucks.
