Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker has defended Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal's upcoming interfaith marriage, stating that it is up to the couple to decide their personal lives and they should not be subject to public debate or backlash. Swara also mentioned the pervasive myth of 'love jihad' in India and cited her own experience of facing backlash after marrying Samajwadi Party's Fahad Ahmad. Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, who worked together in the film Double XL, are speculated to get married in June.
