Amazon will invest €10 billion ($10.7 billion) into its German cloud and logistics infrastructure, with €8.8 billion planned for AWS cloud computing infrastructure in the Frankfurt region by 2026. This commitment is in addition to Amazon's plans to spend €7.8 billion by 2040 on a sovereign cloud business in Germany. The investments are expected to create more than 4,000 jobs this year, and the total amount of planned investments in Germany now amounts to €17.8 billion.
