Designed by Bryan Stevenson, the 17-acre park features sculptures by international artists and a wall displaying over 122,000 last names of the formerly enslaved recorded in the 1870 US Census. The park tells a continuous story of slavery and the ongoing fight for equality, part of the Equal Justice Initiative's Legacy Sites.
