Michigan State Police are searching for Leangel Sabatela-Rodriguez, a 60-year-old Hispanic man, after he allegedly shot another male in Mount Pleasant on June 17. The suspect is believed to be 6'3 and armed and dangerous. Residents near South Leaton and Airport Roads have been asked to lock their doors and report any sightings to 911. Several nearby institutions, including the Soaring Eagle Casino and Saginaw Chippewa Tribal College, went into lockdown during the manhunt.
