44-year-old Giedrius Gasiunas from Co Monaghan appeared in court via video link, charged with the attempted abduction of a 15-year-old boy in Kinawley on April 22. The alleged incident involved a car with bedding in the rear, and the accused becoming aggressive when the teenager refused to accompany them. Gasiunas, originally from Lithuania, was reportedly previously deported from the UK in November.
