Arwood from Theodore was killed in a hit-and-run bicycle accident on June 10th on Dauphin Island Parkway, near the 17-mile marker on Alabama 193, 12 miles north of Dauphin Island. The vehicle involved in the crash fled the scene, and the make, model, and driver's identity are unknown. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency's Highway Patrol Division is investigating the case.
