42-year-old Alina Glont from Dublin is facing trial for a learner permit fraud case, involving conspiracy to pose as driving theory test candidates. The Garda National Economic Crime Bureau's investigation, which began in March 2021, accuses Glont of unlawfully conducting driver theory tests for third parties to obtain driver theory test pass certificates. Glont faces two counts of conspiracy under the Criminal Justice Act 2006 and remains in custody.
